The jingle in my pocket, Is the change that’s left from shopping. I don’t think there’s even enough left, To buy some corn for popping. But if love is made to count, There is lots, it won’t run out. Christmas is the perfect time to start, The jingle in my heart. Santa’s on the corner, And his bell it is a-ringing. The kids are all out caroling, You can hear them singing, But what matters most is here, In my heart it is so clear, You don’t need much money if you start, A jingle in your heart, Hear sleigh bells ringing, Now my heart’s singing. Christmas time’s upon us, And the music is so happy, Even with holes in my jeans, I’m joyous as I can be. It’s not about money, no. Because I love Christmas so, Time for celebrations all to start, A jingle in my heart. Time for believing, We’ve found the feeling. Television’s advertising, Jingles have a message, All about the holidays, And leaving us a vestige, Of a time that’s joyous now. Making us this solemn vow; Ensure that the yuletide music starts, A jingle in our hearts. A jingle in our hearts. A jingle in our hearts. A jingle in our hearts.

How can Santa come when there’s no snow? Is the sand too hot? I just don’t know. Will Santa forget? Aren’t the presents hard to get? Caribbean Christmas makes no sense to me, It just can’t be. Reindeer don’t like sand between their toes. Rudolph might get sunburn on his nose. Elves can’t take the heat, Snowmen melt beneath our feet. Caribbean Christmas makes no sense to me, It just can’t be. Take your time and think about it, man, No one builds a snowman out of sand. And Christmas trees are hard to find. I don’t want to be unkind, Caribbean Christmas makes no sense to me. Somehow all the people still believe, Santa can still make his way across the sea. To our humble home, If he won’t, we’ll make our own, Presents to put underneath the palm, so just be calm. Take your time and think about it, man, No one builds a snowman out of sand. And Christmas trees are hard to find. I don’t want to be unkind, Caribbean Christmas makes no sense to me. (Hey, what's that up in the air? Don't be crazy, mon!) Suddenly I hear the sleigh bells ring. I can now believe in such a thing, It’s not how I thought. Guess the weather’s not too hot. Christmas time and Santa’s come to me, So magically.

As we sit down for our Christmas feast, I’d like to stand and say my piece, There is simply one thing that I wish. Forget the turkey and the ham, No mashed potatoes, candied yams, You have become my favorite Christmas dish. Yes, I should be hungry, but it isn’t so. I want you to meet me, underneath the mistletoe. Don’t give me candy as a gift. No peppermint or chocolate chips. There is simply one thing on my list. Don’t want spice cake or pumpkin pie, Ever since you caught my eye, You have become my favorite Christmas dish. Yes, I should be hungry, but I’m not, you see. I’d prefer you join me right beside the Christmas tree. They say that you can’t live on love, But I checked it with the man above, There is simply one thing on my list. (yeah, yeah, yeah) Don’t want spice cake or pumpkin pie, Ever since you caught my eye, You have become my favorite Christmas dish. My Christmas dish. My Christmas dish. My Christmas dish.

It’s lonely at this time of year. So one thing I fear if I don’t take a chance. I ‘ll miss the moment to ask you for a Christmas dance. Now we know Christmas is here. You are so close and I hope you say yes. Will you be inclined to join me for a Christmas dance? Hear the band play, I hope you’ll say... Holding you here on the floor. There’s nothing more that I want but romance. I am so pleased that I asked you for a Christmas dance. Acoustic Solo: Someday we’ll find, This Christmas time… Is the ideal time of year. You are right here and I’m glad you said yes. I am so pleased that I asked you for this Christmas dance. Yes, this Christmas dance. Yes, this Christmas dance.

Listen hard and you can hear, the elves working away, Santa Claus is right beside them fixing up his sleigh. All the reindeer are at rest, waiting for that night, To begin a trip so long. So sing another Christmas song. There’s a feeling in the air that Santa’s on his way. Children everywhere make lists instead of going to play. Christmas time is coming soon, it’s around the bend. Make the season feel so right, with a Christmas song tonight. Bring out the lights, bring out the tree, Bring out the joy for you and me. Practice good cheer with feelings so strong, And sing another Christmas song. A few more hours to go and Christmas Day will soon be here, Even grownups seem to get this special time of year. Once it’s gone will we recall, the way we feel right now? That everyone belongs…, let’s sing another Christmas song. Let’s sing another Christmas song.

If you’re not about the tree, Or the presents underneath, What about the snowflakes on the ground? You keep trying to get to me, Even though I disagree, Every year you keep on coming round. What are you Christmas? If you’re not all these things? Please tell me what the season brings. If it’s not the carols sung, Or the church bells being rung, What about the lights up on the eaves? If it’s not the snowman’s smile, Or of Santa traveling miles, What about the tinsel on the trees? What are you Christmas? If you’re not what you seem? Please tell me what does Christmas mean? Memories of childhood days, Flooding back in faded waves, Thinking 'bout the joys of Christmas past. Maybe it’s about good cheer, At this special time of year, When Family and friends are here at last. That’s what is Christmas, The feeling in the air. The love that we find everywhere… Everywhere… Everywhere… Everywhere… Everywhere…
